Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Business Architect to join a Federal Government client in Canberra. This role drives ongoing enhancements of business architecture and delivers solutions across the Scheme participant, provider and partner domains, with a focus on Salesforce CRM.

You will develop high-level designs, plan dependencies, and liaise with stakeholders and enterprise teams to ensure outcomes. The position emphasizes governance, data and process requirements, and accessibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level IT/Business degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in a Salesforce CRM role.
• Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience modelling business processes with various tools.
• Experience with cloud-based projects and digital transformation teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level designs and solutions that address business problems whilst aligning to agency architectural principles and strategic direction.
• Undertake key planning activities to identify dependencies, sequencing, and stakeholders across multiple programs of work.
• Enhance the business architecture based on the Agency goals and objectives.
• Apply architectural principles to business solutions.
• Liaise with business stakeholders and programs to understand business requirements and provide technology consultancy.
• Liaise with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
• Work with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End to End solution designs in line with business requirements and architectural principles.
• Define the data and process requirements to meet the business requirements.
• Work with wider enterprise architecture teams to agree on recommended solution for business problem statements with particular focus on Salesforce CRM.
• Represent Salesforce Business Architecture in organisation wide strategic programs.

This role is responsible for ongoing enhancement of business architecture and appropriate business solutions across the Scheme participant, provider and partner domains, with specific focus on delivery of the service enhancement and digital transformation objectives on Salesforce CRM.

Essential criteria

• Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience working in similar role in large scale Salesforce CRM implementations.
• Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Experience working on cloud-based projects, including working with digital transformation teams, UX/CX designers, and assistant technology enabled (Accessibility Compliant) applications.
• Familiar with deployment in public and private government approved cloud and associated security considerations.

Desirable criteria

• Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments and exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud and Insurance Industries.
• TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification.
• Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments.
• Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
