The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, experience presenting insights to diverse stakeholders, and the ability to work across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Approximately 5 years' experience supporting commercial decision-making.
• Experience in corporate finance, accounting, engineering, legal, strategy or business analysis is highly regarded.
• Exposure to the resources or coal mining industry is desirable.

Reporting to the Company Secretary and General Manager, Corporate Development, you will support the evaluation of projects, investments, acquisitions and other commercial opportunities that drive long-term value creation for the organisation.

About the Role

As our Business Analyst, Corporate Development, you will:

• Conduct commercial, financial and strategic analysis of investment opportunities.


• Develop financial models to support project and investment evaluation.


• Support acquisitions, divestments and other key commercial transactions.


• Assist with strategic planning and financial forecasting activities.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather market intelligence and support corporate development activities.


• Utilise AI-enabled tools responsibly to enhance productivity and insight generation while ensuring governance and confidentiality requirements are met.
