Overview

Business Analyst - Consumer Finance (Vendor Management Focus). North Sydney | 12-month Max Term | 4 Days in Office. We're working with a fast-growing Startup lender in the consumer finance space. They're looking for a Business Analyst with a background in unsecured lending to support critical initiatives across products, platforms, and operations. This role has a strong focus on vendor management, helping ensure third-party providers deliver seamless solutions that meet business and customer needs.

What you'll be doing
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across lending operations, credit, and product functions
  • Work closely with vendors and technology partners to translate business needs into functional outcomes
  • Support vendor management activities including requirements validation, contract deliverables, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
  • Develop process maps, business cases, and impact assessments to support decision-making
  • Ensure all requirements and solutions align with consumer lending regulations and compliance standards
What we’re looking for
  • Proven Business Analyst experience within consumer finance / unsecured lending
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working with vendors or third-party providers to deliver technology and business solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of NCCP Act, RG 209, and consumer credit compliance highly regarded
