Job summary

A leading software consultancy in Sydney is looking for a Business Analyst on a contract basis to support a major API integration program. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between customers and technical teams, ensuring smooth integration processes. The role requires proven experience with API or system integration projects and strong communication skills. This position offers flexibility with remote working options and a daily rate contract.

API Business Analyst (Contract)

We’re supporting a leading organisation in the software industry that’s rolling out a major API integration program. They’re looking for a Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between customers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure smooth, scalable integrations.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with customers and software vendors to gather integration requirements
• Driving end-to-end API integrations (scoping → delivery → go-live)
• Translating business needs into clear technical requirements
• Ensuring integrations are documented, tested, and delivered on time
• Acting as the key contact point across multiple projects

What you’ll bring

• Proven BA experience in API or system integration projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
