Job description

Location: Geelong, VIC, hybrid

Salary: $60.26 - $80.35 per hour + super

Start Date: ASAP| Contract Length: 12 months

Eligibility: Australian Citizenship required

About The Role

The Business Analyst role is responsible for leading and supporting business analysis activities across complex programs. The role involves identifying and documenting current business processes, analysing systems and workflows, and driving improvements that align with organisational objectives. It includes working closely with product owners and subject matter experts to define user stories, develop business requirements, and support solution design. The position also oversees reporting, data analysis, compliance processes, and risk controls to track performance and inform strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role supports development and testing phases to ensure solutions meet business needs and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting business processes and creating process maps.
  • Conducting business and systems process analysis.
  • Providing program-level analysis and documentation.
  • Supporting the Product Owner with user stories, acceptance criteria, and system use.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and supporting testing.
  • Leading the transition of business requirements to development teams.
