Job description

Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a Business Analyst.

Working in Brisbane office, you will be involved in enterprise level IT and network / infrastructure projects. This programme is part of a large technology uplift across the entire organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Requirement gathering
• Process mapping and reengineering
• Gap analysis for operational readiness
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Delivery of metrics and KPIs for new reporting requirements
• Supporting change and operational management

Some of the key project teams will include applications and network management teams, change and project management as well as project delivery staff.

To be considered for this role, candidates are required to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years Business Analysis experience
• Wide variety of IT projects
• Stakeholder and vendor management
• High level documentation skills
• Process and business mapping skills
• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow

Australian citizenship is mandatory due to security requirements. On offer to the successful candidate will be a 12 month contract with a daily rate of up to $1100 per day.
