Job summary

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is recruiting a skilled Business Analyst to support technology and business initiatives in Adelaide. The role requires collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, map processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

The position is a 6-month contract with likely extension, hybrid work (3 days in the office) and occasional travel to the Olympic Dam site. Strong BA experience and BABOK knowledge are advantageous.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support technology and business initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Technology Infrastructure projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyse and map current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop tactical plans to improve business processes and outcomes.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex business requirements.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication throughout projects.
• Ensure requirements and processes are clearly documented.

About You

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with process mapping and business process analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of BABOK is advantageous.
• Experience in Technology Infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Industry experience across Natural Resources, Utilities, Construction or Electrical environments will be highly regarded.
• Comfortable with occasional travel to the Olympic Dam site.
