Job summary

Solutions+ is seeking a hands-on conservation worker to tackle weed removal across riparian and bushland areas in Queensland. You will identify invasive species, conduct control using manual, chemical, and mechanical methods, and contribute to native planting and revegetation projects.

A practical, safety-focused approach is essential, with a current driver’s license, White Card, and the ability to obtain clear police and working with children checks if required.

Qualifications

• Experience removing weeds across riparian or bushland areas.
• Ability to identify invasive species and priority weeds.
• Knowledge of safe herbicide handling and application procedures.

Responsibilities

• Primary weed removal across riparian and bushland areas.
• Identify and remove invasive weed species and priorities.
• Conduct weed control using manual, chemical, and mechanical methods.
• Riparian restoration and native planting works.
• Maintain records of works completed and herbicide use.
