Job summary

Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental is seeking an experienced bush regenerator / field officer to join on a casual basis, covering Eurobodalla and South Coast locations. Applicants should bring a passion for the environment and the ability to work well in a team.

The role requires a 3 day per week minimum availability and above-award wages for suitably qualified candidates. Ideal candidates will have AQF3 Chemical Accreditation, White Card, and Chainsaw Ticket, with Conservation and Ecosystem

Qualifications

• 12 months minimum experience in bush regeneration or equivalent.
• AQF3 Chemical Accreditation required.
• White Card required.
• Chainsaw Ticket (AHCPCM203) required.
• Conservation and Ecosystem Management Cert III recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bush regeneration and weed control works across Eurobodalla and South Coast regions.
• Support habitat protection and erosion control projects as part of environmental programs.
• Collaborate effectively within a team on diverse environmental projects.

Bushland Regeneration / Field Officer Staff

Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental are currently working on a variety of environmental projects across several areas including Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Shoalhaven and the South Coast.

These projects include bush regeneration and weed control works, boat access riparian area weed control, Endangered Ecological Community projects, habitat protection, fire mitigation, tree planting and erosion control with a focus on endangered species-based projects.

Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental is seeking an experienced bush regenerator / field officer / staff members to join our team on a casual basis.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• AQF3 Chemical Accreditation
• White Card
• Own transport.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• 12 months min experience in bush regeneration or equivalent
• Chainsaw Ticket - AHCPCM203 Fell small trees
• Conservation and Ecosystem Management Cert. III.
