Transport for NSW is seeking a Manager Bus Regulatory Programs for a temporary opportunity up to 7 months in Sydney. You will lead the regulatory reform program for bus services, guiding standards, safety outcomes and stakeholder engagement across a broad ecosystem of partners.

You will drive cross‑functional workstreams, shape regulatory reform, and collaborate with policy experts to improve safety and performance. This role is based at the Sydney office with a fixed-term commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale transformation and regulatory/policy reform projects.
• Deep understanding of bus industry or transport regulation and reform.
• Strategic thinker focused on long-term outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of risk, governance and assurance frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of the Bus Regulatory Transformation Program.
• Assess regulatory standards, safety outcomes and the assurance framework.
• Drive cross-organisational collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
