Job summary

Spheros Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Technician to work across the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. You will handle end-to-end HVAC installations on new bus builds, perform field diagnostics, scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs for major bus brands.

Ideal candidates bring 24V heavy vehicle AC experience, pipe soldering, wiring loom skills, and a passion for coaching apprentices while delivering strong customer service. Full-time with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in automotive electrical technology or equivalent.
• Proven experience working on 24V heavy vehicle air conditioning systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical and refrigeration circuits.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on bus and coach AC systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out field repairs across the greater Brisbane/Gold Coast area.
• Mentor, guide and train junior technicians and apprentices.
