Job summary

QTK Group is seeking a Resident Service Technician - Bus Air Conditioners to service and install bus air conditioning equipment in the Newcastle/Coffs Harbour region. You will work in the field, travel occasionally to regional towns, and maintain detailed job reports using a tablet.

Ideally you are a qualified auto electrician or mechanic with a hands-on approach, a current driver’s license, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Working at Heights Certification (can obtain once joined)
• Current Drivers License
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on field service work
• Flexible approach to working hours with 24 x 7 support

Responsibilities

• Service Bus Air Conditioners in the field
• Install Bus Air Conditioners at OEM facilities
• Perform scheduled servicing, system repairs, onsite installations, and maintenance
• Respond to callouts for equipment fault-finding and repair throughout Coffs Harbour/Central Coast and surrounding areas
• Occasional travel to regional towns with short stays
• Maintain job reports on a tablet
• Complete prestart checks and other required documentation
• Keep the company vehicle clean and presentable
• Maintain up-to-date customer records
• Support sales activities by providing equipment assembly, testing, warranty inspections, and repairs
• Adhere to QTK's safety and operational procedures
