Job summary

Australian Christian College Moreton is seeking a dedicated transport team member to provide safe bus journeys for students. This part-time position requires 40 hours per fortnight, with two 2-hour runs at the start and end of the school day, located in Caboolture, just north of Brisbane.

You will adhere to schedules and traffic laws, build positive relationships with students, and be part of an authentic Christian team within our school community.

Qualifications

• Valid and appropriate driver's licence (MR or HR).
• Excellent driving record and commitment to passenger safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine person with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our students
• Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus
• Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order

Our Moreton campus is a growing Christian P-12 school with over 900 students on campus and over 1,200 distance education students across Queensland and internationally.

The school is located in Caboolture about 50km north of Brisbane and 50km south of the Sunshine Coast and our staff live all the way from northern Brisbane suburbs to the Sunshine Coast.

Requirements

We are seeking Christian staff to join our transport team in providing an excellent bus journey service. This part time (40 hours a fortnight) is expected to start as soon as possible. Bus runs are 2 hours at each end of the school day (4 hours per day).
