Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Bulk Earthworks Project Engineer to join our civil contractor delivering major earthworks across regional NSW, including solar, wind, roads and infrastructure. Two roles available with strong exposure to large-scale projects.

You will manage engineering and technical delivery, coordinate subcontractors and site activities, review drawings and ITPs, and maintain project documentation while travelling across Regional NSW.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification.
• Project engineering experience in earthworks or civil construction.
• Strong understanding of bulk earthworks and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel across Regional NSW.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and technical delivery across earthworks and civil packages.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials and site activities.

The role:

Design & Build are looking for 2 x Project Engineers to join a growing civil contractor delivering major bulk and detailed earthworks projects across regional NSW.

Projects include solar and wind farms, renewables, roads and civil infrastructure, providing exposure to a diverse range of large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering and technical delivery across earthworks and civil packages.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials and site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, ITPs and construction methodologies.
• Manage RFIs, quantities, progress reporting and project documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, clients and consultants.

About You:

• Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification.
• Project Engineering experience within earthworks or civil construction.
• Strong understanding of bulk earthworks and construction methodologies.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel across Regional NSW.
