Business Development Manager - NSW

Grow with us! We are currently seeking a proactive, sales and people oriented Business Development Manager to join our NSW Singleton facility with BTP.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating deals that drive revenue (margin) growth for the BTP Parts, Service and Equipment Rental businesses (BTP). It is expected that the role will assist in developing and implementing strategies to expand BTP’s customer base and market share.

Key Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role in the Heavy Mobile Equipment industry, Mining, or related sectors (preferred)
  • A Business Development or Sales Management background
  • Ability to commit to travelling to Customer Sites approximately 50% of the time
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Demonstrated capability in responding to tenders and developing sales proposals (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Advanced Word skills (preferred)
  • Excellent business acumen and professional communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements including a Full Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance
