Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Commissioning Analyst to support the Mechanical Commissioning process from concept design through testing and post-occupancy verification. You will manage documentation, lead testing procedures, and collaborate with O&M staff within CBRE's Building Consultancy function.

The role emphasizes independent work, knowledge of BAS integration, and MS Office proficiency, with eligibility to work in the United States and a preference for LEED AP or related certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) integration.
• LEED AP, BCA ACP, OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future and live within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects from conception through completion.
• Manage work orders using CMMS, including labor tracking and closeouts.
• Assist with the commissioning process for building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Controls, and Low Voltage).
• Review designs, submittals, and O&Ms; write custom checklists and testing procedures.
• Perform on-site observations, inspection, testing, validation, and verification of building systems.
• Facilitate O&M staff training sessions.
• Review and develop project-related reports and deliverables for review and approval.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange information clearly and confirm understanding.
