Job summary

Engineering Networks is seeking a Building Services Engineer to design, deliver, and maintain critical building services across the national network. The role focuses on HVAC, fire services and related infrastructure from design through commissioning and ongoing support.

You will collaborate on upgrades, capacity planning and maintenance strategies, providing guidance to field teams while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and NCC.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Mechanical, Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years' engineering experience in mission-critical environments.
• Strong experience with HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
• Experience with commissioning.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; IES or CAMEL exposure is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify and review HVAC, fire services and building services infrastructure.
• Support HVAC upgrades, retrofits and capacity planning across network sites.
• Provide engineering support throughout project delivery, including commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Ensure fire detection and alarm systems meet statutory requirements and Australian Standards.
• Support field teams with technical advice, troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Contribute to maintenance strategies, asset evaluations and infrastructure improvements.
