Job summary

Haste Recruitment seeks a Building & Pest Inspector to cover Pymble inspection locations in NSW, performing pre-purchase inspections, identifying defects and assessing compliance to safeguard property transactions.

You’ll produce clear reports, inspect subfloors and roof areas, and provide professional advice to clients, with NSW Builder’s Licence and Timber Pest certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in building and/or pest inspections.
• NSW Builder’s Licence.
• Timber Pest certification (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010) — or willingness to enrol.
• Strong attention to detail & high-quality reporting skills.
• Police clearance, valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify structural defects, compliance issues & safety risks.
• Carry out pre-purchase inspections across Pymble & surrounds.
• Produce clear, actionable inspection reports.
• Inspect subfloors, roof cavities & external roofing areas.
• Provide professional advice to clients.
