BA Building Inspections is seeking a reliable Building Inspector to join our growing team in Victoria. You will conduct residential and commercial inspections across the Goulburn Valley, Murray Valley, and Hume Region, delivering clear reports and maintaining consistent hours near home.

You will work independently with strong internal support, communicate professionally with clients, and use our templates to produce accurate, easily understood assessments while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Reliable, organized, and professional in how you manage your workday.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Comfortable dealing with clients and representing a small local business.
• Able to work independently while being a supportive team member.
• Minimum of intermediate computer skills.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn our systems.
• Trade experience in residential or commercial.
• Experience as a building inspector, registered builder, or site supervisor.
• Knowledge of residential or commercial construction.
• Local knowledge of North East Victoria Region.

• Complete pre-purchase, new build handover, and commercial inspections
• Identify and clearly explain defects, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
• Deliver accurate, easy-to-understand inspection reports utilising existing software-based templates
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, agents, and team members
• Follow established processes and maintain consistent quality standards

We are seeking a reliable and communicative Building Inspector to join our growing team. This role involves conducting residential and commercial inspections with realistic workloads, clear systems, and strong internal support.

Work is local to Goulburn Valley, Murray Valley and Hume Region, allowing you to work close to home, avoid long commutes, and enjoy consistent, predictable hours.
