Contractor Opportunities: Building & Pest Inspectors | Multiple Roles Available

Are you an experienced, independent contractor looking to partner with a leading building and pest inspection service provider?

At Rapid Building Inspections (RBI), part of the Home Trades Hub Australia (HTHA) family and owned by RACV, we’re committed to delivering the highest quality building and pest inspection services across Australia. We are currently looking for independent contractors with their own ABN and who are incorporated to join our growing network of experts.

About the Role: We are seeking Building & Pest Inspectors to join our contractor network across Queensland (Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast), New South Wales, and Victoria. This is an opportunity for contractors who operate their own businesses and are looking to engage in inspection work on their own terms. As a contractor with RBI, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule and will be responsible for:

• Identifying defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues in residential and commercial properties.
• Delivering detailed reports with clear recommendations for repairs, treatments, and safety improvements.
• Operating as an independent contractor, managing your own business and providing services as required by RBI clients.

Key Requirements: To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in Building & Pest Inspections.
• Relevant timber pest courses (CPPUPM3008 and CPPUPM3010).
• Ability to identify issues and deliver high-quality reports.
• A valid police check, driver’s license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Have a construction induction card (white/Red card).
• Must be incorporated and have an active ABN.
• Ability to work as an independent contractor, managing your own business.

State-Specific Requirements:

• VIC/NSW: Prefer to hold or be able to obtain a VIC/NSW Builder's Licence and be familiar with state-specific building codes (preferred but not mandatory).
• QLD: You must hold or be able to obtain a QLD Builder's Licence, with knowledge of Queensland’s building regulations and compliance standards.
