Building Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (CostX) - Perth, WA
9 Day Fortnight | Hybrid Working | National Technical & Engineering Team
Help shape the future of construction!
At Ausco Modular, we're changing the way buildings are delivered across Australia.
For more than 60 years we've been one of Australia's leading modular construction companies, delivering permanent and temporary building solutions across education, healthcare, government, defence, commercial, industrial, mining, sport, community infrastructure and large-scale residential projects.
Many of our clients initially engage consultants to design buildings using traditional in situ construction methods before choosing Ausco to deliver the project using modular construction. They choose us because of the benefits modular construction provides, including faster project delivery, improved safety, reduced site disruption, greater programme certainty and exceptional value.
As demand for modular construction continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Building Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to join our National Technical Services team.
This is an opportunity to apply your technical estimating skills on some of Australia's most diverse construction projects while helping shape the future of modular construction.
Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you'll prepare accurate budgets, estimates, tenders and predominantly Bills of Materials (BOMs) for modular building projects throughout Australia.
Working closely with Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Construction and Sales teams, you'll ensure every estimate is technically accurate, commercially competitive and capable of being efficiently manufactured and delivered.
Where client procurement requires it, you'll also contribute to the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), making a strong understanding of construction measurement principles highly valuable.
This is a technical estimating role that requires someone who understands how buildings are designed, measured and constructed, and who enjoys solving construction challenges rather than simply preparing quantities.
We're looking for someone with a strong technical estimating foundation who enjoys understanding how buildings are put together and can work independently within a collaborative national team.
This is more than a traditional estimating role. You'll become part of a national technical team that is continually improving the way estimating is delivered across the business.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
If you're passionate about technical estimating, enjoy solving complex construction challenges and want to be part of a team that's redefining how buildings are designed, manufactured and delivered, we'd love to hear from you.
