You will inspect stages of development, provide expert advice, investigate compliance issues, and support continuous improvement of building assessment services within a safety-focused, customer-first

Qualifications

• Accredited professional with knowledge of Building Code and related legislation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in building assessment, certification, surveying or related role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess Building Rules Consent applications under relevant acts.
• Undertake inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and requirements.
• Provide expert advice on building-related matters to staff and applicants.
• Investigate unlawful development activities and building compliance matters.
• Assist with Building Fire Safety Committee administration and operations.
• Contribute to policy and procedure improvements for building assessment services.
