Overview

Building Designer / Draftsperson required for Eight Mile Plains based Custom Home Builder. BESA Design & Construction is currently looking for a Designer / Draftsperson with Revit and residential building experience. BESA is a custom home builder, presenting a unique opportunity for a Designer to further your career.

Responsibilities

The current opening is for an experienced Draftsperson with at least 3-5 years working knowledge using the Revit drafting systems. In addition to strong Drafting skills, you will be expected to be knowledgeable in local council building codes, full working drawing documentation, construction detailing and coordinating with external consultants.

Qualifications

• Architectural drafting qualifications - Diploma of Building Design or Bachelor of Architecture and above
• 3-5 years experience producing working drawings using Revit
• Post Graduation
• Experience with Enscape is desired but not essential
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and Australian standards
• Residential construction knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to conceptualize and develop design solutions
• Good understanding of site works, experience with sloping sites is desired
• Experience with construction documentation and detailing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• An excellent work ethic and attitude
