Job summary

Crawford is seeking multiple Building Consultants to provide expert advice on building repairs in our CRD Team based at the Gold Coast office. You will conduct thorough building inspections and translate findings into detailed technical reports for clients in the insurance sector.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building consultancy or related trades, are registered building practitioners, and are able to communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Sound technical building consultancy experience (min 3+ years).
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel interstate/regionally.
• Registered building practitioner status (engineer, inspector, surveyor, builder).

Responsibilities

• Conduct property/building inspections to identify defects and liabilities.
• Prepare written reports documenting causes of failure and remediation.
• Provide expert witness testimony in courts when required.
• Maintain knowledge of legislation, standards, codes, and best practices.
