Job summary

Dedicated Staffing Solutions – Burleigh Heads QLD is seeking a Building Certifier (Qualified) – Residential to join our client’s collaborative and vibrant team on the Gold Coast.

You will work on a broad mix of residential projects, including custom designer homes, volume builds, architect-designed homes, renovations, extensions and pools. Certification will be focused around the Gold Coast and nearby areas, with a supportive team behind you.

Qualifications

• Must hold all relevant qualifications, licences & association memberships.
• Strong understanding of building codes & standards.
• Software knowledge of Certflow (or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Adaptable, positive and solution focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assessing & approving residential building applications for homes, renovations, extensions & pools.
• Reviewing compliance against applicable legislation, codes & standards.
• Proactively liaise with clients, builders, town planners, architects & homeowners.

About the Role:

You’ll work on a broad mix of residential projects, from custom designer homes, volume builds, to architect-designed homes, renovations, extensions, and swimming pools.

Certification works will be focused predominantly on the Gold Coast or within about an hour of the Burleigh office.

Whether your day is driving around to new builds on the Gold Coast, heading out through the stunning hinterland to an architectural build in the Scenic Rim, or heading north to the beautiful bayside regions of Redlands through to Moreton Bay, you know that you will have a solid team working behind the scenes with you. And there’s plans underway for a balmy North Queensland location too.

About You:

• Must hold all relevant qualifications, licences & association memberships
• Strong understandingof building codes & standards
• Software knowledge of Certflow (or similar are beneficial) and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Adaptable, positive and solution focused mindset
• You value company culture as much as technical accuracy
