Job summary

Platinum Building Approvals is seeking a Residential Building Certifier to join a collaborative team on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on certifying homes, renovations, extensions and pools across residential projects with travel to sites within about an hour of Burleigh.

Ideal candidates hold relevant licenses and certifications, with strong knowledge of building codes and standards. Proficiency with Certflow and Microsoft Office is preferred.

We’re seeking a Building Certifier (Qualified) – Residential to join our client’s collaborative and vibrant team.

About the Role:

You’ll work on a broad mix of residential projects, from custom designer homes, volume builds, to architect-designed homes, renovations, extensions, and swimming pools.

Certification works will be focused predominantly on the Gold Coast or within about an hour of the Burleigh office.

Whether your day is driving around to new builds on the Gold Coast, heading out through the stunning hinterland to an architectural build in the Scenic Rim, or heading north to the beautiful bayside regions of Redlands through to Moreton Bay, you know that you will have a solid team working behind the scenes with you. And there’s plans underway for a balmy North Queensland location too.

About You:

• Must hold all relevant qualifications, licences & association memberships

• Software knowledge of Certflow (or similar are beneficial) and proficient with Microsoft Office

With your proven experience working as a Residential Building Certifier, you will be ready to hit the ground running -

• Assessing & approving residential building applications for homes, renovations, extensions & pools
