You will work with clients, builders, designers and other consultants to deliver practical, timely certification services. The ideal candidate has proven building certification experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret

Qualifications

• Experience in building certification and assessment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Confident interpreting plans, specs, legislation and codes.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Registered/licensed as a building certifier for the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in NCC and building legislation.

• Assess building plans, specifications and documentation for compliance with applicable legislation, codes and standards.
• Undertake building inspections at various stages of construction.
• Issue building approvals, permits, certificates and other relevant documentation.
• Provide clear and practical advice to clients, builders, designers and other stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate compliance issues and work with our team to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate certification and inspection records.
• Ensure all certification work is completed professionally, accurately and within required timeframes.
• Keep up to date with changes to legislation, regulations, codes and industry requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.

• Appropriate building certifier registration/licensing for the relevant jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience in building certification, surveying or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant building legislation and standards.
