This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a mix of owners, start-up builders, and major volume builders. You\'ll be a trusted advisor across a range of matters, including:

• Reviewing and advising on building contracts
• Managing contract and defective works disputes
• Representing clients in mediations, conciliations, and settlement negotiations
• Handling VCAT and DBDRV disputes
• Assisting with home warranty and insurance claims
• Drafting compliance manuals for building contracts
• Reviewing display village and marketing contracts

About You

We\'re looking for a lawyer who has:

• Strong litigation (5 years min) experience, ideally in building & construction law
• Experience across Supreme, County, Magistrates\' Court and/or VCAT
• Practical, client-focused problem-solving skills
• LEAP experience (preferred but not essential)
• A desire to grow your expertise and become experienced in construction law
