Job summary

NEP is Australia's leading provider of outsourced television production services and is seeking a Broadcast Engineer for the Andrew's Hub in Sydney. The role is based at Eveleigh, near Redfern and Waterloo stations, within a global company delivering live and recorded television events.

You will manage technical quality, set up and calibrate OB/Studio productions, collaborate with a small team, and ensure on-air standards while coordinating with clients. Right to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in broadcasting engineering and networking.
• Strong understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
• Knowledge of SMPTE 2110 preferred.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Ability to communicate with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Daily you will be working with a small team, with the resources of a large international broadcast company.
• You will be responsible for the technical quality control and management of Hub productions, including setup, operation, calibration and signal standards of OB or Studio production and other equipment.
• Work with clients and team to ensure on-air quality and timely delivery of productions.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Daily you will be working with a small team, with the resources of a large international broadcast company.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the technical quality control and management of Hub productions, including the efficient setup, operational condition, calibration, and signal standards of an OB or Studio production and other associated equipment assigned to projects.

Required skills and attributes:

• You will already have some engineering skills preferably in both broadcasting and
• networking.
• You will have a good understanding of outside broadcast workflows
• Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable
• The ability to work under time restraints
• Well originated and can priorities work in order of on-air importance
• Work and communicate with other team members and clients alike
