Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. in Sydney's Eveleigh seeks a Broadcast Engineer to join the Andrews Hub.

You will work with a small team within a large international broadcast company, responsible for technical quality control and management of hub productions, including setup, calibration, and adherence to signal standards for OB or studio projects. The right candidate will have broadcasting and networking skills, a good grasp of outside broadcast workflows, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Must have engineering skills in broadcasting and networking.
  • Understanding of outside broadcast workflows is essential.
  • Familiarity with SMPTE 2110 is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Quality control and management of Hub productions.
  • Set up, calibrate, and ensure signal standards for OB or Studio projects.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver productions on time.

We are currently seeking a Broadcast Engineer for our Andrews Hub in Sydney's Eveleigh, just a stone’s throw from Sydney’s CBD.

Key Responsibilities But Not Limited To

Daily you will be working with a small team, with the resources of a large international broadcast company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the technical quality control and management of Hub productions, including the efficient setup, operational condition, calibration, and signal standards of an OB or Studio production and other associated equipment assigned to projects.

Required Skills And Attributes
  • You will already have some engineering skills preferably in both broadcasting and
  • networking.
  • You will have a good understanding of outside broadcast workflows
  • Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable
  • The ability to work under time restraints
  • Well originated and can priorities work in order of on-air importance
  • Work and communicate with other team members and clients alike
