Job summary

ThreatLocker Inc. in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to plan and manage trade shows and industry events, handling logistics, liaising with vendors and guests, and overseeing operations. You will also collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team to support campaigns and maximize event impact.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Brisbane, Australia. The team handles 20+ events weekly during peak seasons, with domestic and occasional international travel and close

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of managing trade shows or large events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management or Public Relations preferred.
• CMP certification preferred.
• Strong ability to research, evaluate, and recommend relevant events.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant industry trade shows and events.
• Review potential events, gather data (audience, cost, ROI) and recommend attendance.
• Negotiate and manage event contracts with organisers, venues and vendors.
• Prepare, present and manage event budgets.
• Secure venues, plan layouts and coordinate booth requirements with vendors.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing Team and organisers to fulfill event requirements.
• Manage staff registration and attendance.
• Arrange travel and accommodation logistics and bookings.
• Support event promotion through brand channels (social, email, advertising).
• Coordinate security, equipment rentals and catering.
• Run the floor to ensure smooth operations.
• Evaluate event success and prepare post-event reports.
