Job summary

Plan A Town Planning Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Town Planner to join our busy team. We work across a diverse range of development projects throughout Queensland and pride ourselves on practical, commercial planning solutions.

You will work with senior planners and directors through all stages of the development approval process, handling investigations, applications, reports and client liaison while developing skills in a hands-on consultancy.

Qualifications

• A degree in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking preliminary planning and development investigations.
• Preparing and assisting with development applications.
• Reviewing planning schemes, legislation and policies.
• Conducting planning research, analysis and due diligence.
• Preparing planning reports and other application documentation.
• Liaising with clients, councils and project consultants.
• Assisting senior planners and directors with complex matters.
• Managing your own workload to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Developing practical, commercially focused planning solutions.
