Job summary

Based in Brisbane within Santos’ Midstream and Energy Solutions unit, this role supports fit-for-purpose Project Data processes and systems, focusing on productivity and cost optimisation. You’ll enable Day 1 readiness, manage data handovers to Operations, QA project data builds, and lead standards, governance, and continuous improvement across the asset lifecycle.

Strong data management experience in Engineering/Maintenance, familiarity with SmartPlant/Omega PIMS/Hexagon/SAP, and a related

Qualifications

• Specialist role requiring strong technical data management in a project environment.
• Experience across asset lifecycle from project execution to handover.
• Understanding of how project data supports Reliability & Maintenance.
• Experience with data standards and continuous improvement in projects.
• Experience auditing and governance for contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
• Experience with SmartPlant, Omega PIMS, Hexagon Design Tools, or SAP (EAM) preferred.
• Degree in a related technical field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and enable projects to deliver compliant Project Data implementations.
• Link Reliability & Maintenance objectives with project delivery for Day 1 readiness.
• Oversee handover of Project Data to Operations per Operational Readiness processes.
• Manage technical queries and data issues in Data Management.
• Provide QA leadership for Maintenance and Engineering Data implementations.
• Lead standardisation of Project Data management within the region.
• Develop fit-for-purpose Project Data resourcing to support data builds.
• Lead continuous improvement of Project Data management solutions (e.g., Omega PIMS) and digitised design tools.
• Conduct project data build QA reviews and audits.
• Manage contractor activities including auditing and governance.
