Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Lift Service Technician based in Brisbane, Queensland. You will work closely with Electricians, Field Engineers, Fitters, Adjusters, and Trade Assistants to service and repair lifts and escalators across the Brisbane portfolio.

The role requires an Electrical license or Cert III in Electrotechnology, a valid driver’s license, and at least five years in the lift industry. You will be expected to uphold safety and quality standards, with training and career

Qualifications

Must have Electrical license or Cert III in Electrotechnology.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience within the Lift Industry.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of large equipment.
Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
Intermediate knowledge of technology (mobile apps, Word, Excel, Email).

Responsibilities

Performs service repairs and maintenance in accordance with procedures and manuals.
Attend lift and escalator breakdowns, perform repairs and control modifications.
Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.
Identify process improvements to meet customer satisfaction.
Support apprentices and subcontractors with training.
Work with Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, and Managers.
