Polymer Connect in Brisbane is seeking a Driver/Operator to transport bulk container loads and use specialised trailers for discharging into factory silos across the metropolitan area. A strong focus on safety, road rules and customer satisfaction is essential.

Work is mainly Monday to Friday 6am–4pm with occasional Saturday mornings. Starting salary is $102,500 with overtime and a review after six months; salary may increase to $130,000 with proven performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass HV Health Assessment for commercial vehicle drivers
• Current Heavy Combination (HC) and/or Multi-Combination (MC) licence (RMS printout required)
• Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Laws and Regulations
• Experience driving 14 to 64 tonne articulated trailer vehicles
• Basic literacy and numeracy to follow written communication and complete forms
• Experience in general labouring duties and small plant operations
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Ability to pass National Police Check in Australia

Responsabilités

• Operate trucks effectively to achieve Polymer Connect goals
• Perform daily truck checks and maintenance
• Load plant safely following instructions
• Ensure loads comply with weight and safety limits and road regulations
• Comply with safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle guidelines and procedures
• Use Brisbane road knowledge and GPS for route planning
• Work unsupervised and as part of a team
