Job summary

Global Group in Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our project team, supporting the estimating, planning and delivery of oil & gas construction projects.

This is an opportunity to build strong commercial and technical foundations at the front end of projects, while working closely with the people who deliver them in the field. As your experience grows, so will your exposure including opportunities to spend time on site and progress into Site Engineer and Project Engineer pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduate to approximately 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
• Current Brisbane residency and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates, durations and resource requirements.
• Assist with project planning and construction schedules (Primavera P6).
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Work with site teams to understand scope and execution requirements.
• Support tenders and front-end project activities.
• Develop understanding of pipelines, piping, facilities and oil & gas construction.
• Progress into site and project engineering opportunities.
