Job summary

QIC is seeking a Portfolio Analyst in Brisbane to join the Fixed Income team. You will work with portfolio managers, perform market research, asset allocation, and risk analysis to help manage portfolios for large institutional clients.

You will engage in macroeconomic monitoring, portfolio construction support, and production of client updates. You'll gain exposure to platforms like Bloomberg and Aladdin and develop skills for a long-term funds management career.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Econometrics or related discipline.
• 1-3 years' experience in investment management or financial markets.
• Genuine interest in macroeconomics and fixed income.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor macroeconomic developments and market trends.
• Support portfolio construction and management activities.
• Produce risk reports, attribution analysis and insights.
