Job summary

Your Recruitment Agency Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Bridal Patternmaker to join its creative team. This hands-on role requires technical expertise in bridal and couture garments, with strong CAD patternmaking and traditional manual patternmaking skills.

You will develop production-ready patterns from concept to final fit, collaborating with design and production teams to achieve the desired silhouette, fit and finish for luxury bridal gowns.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Patternmaker, preferably within bridal, couture, eveningwear or high-end fashion.
Strong knowledge of bridal garment construction and fitting.
Advanced CAD patternmaking skills and ability to work with manual techniques.

Responsibilities

Create and develop patterns for bridal gowns, bodices, skirts, sleeves and corsetry.
Develop patterns using CAD software with accuracy across styles and sizes.
Produce and modify patterns using traditional patternmaking techniques.
Interpret sketches, concepts and technical specifications.
Conduct fittings and adjust patterns for exceptional garment fit.
Grade patterns and prepare production specifications as required.
Maintain organized pattern records and production-ready documentation.
