South Staffordshire College is seeking a knowledgeable Brickwork Lecturer to join our Construction team based at our Torc Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry experience and help learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for a successful career in the construction industry.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, monitor progress, provide effective feedback and contribute to the continued development of our curriculum.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
• Relevant Brickwork or Trowel Occupations qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (GCSE Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent).
• Current vocational knowledge and practical experience within the Brickwork and Construction industry.
• Passionate about developing learners and helping them achieve their potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Commitment to continuous professional and industry development.
