Brick & Block Careers seeks bricklaying apprentices for immediate vacancies in Frankston, Mornington, Rye, Dromana and surrounding Peninsula areas. Earn while you learn through a nationally recognised apprenticeship, working with experienced tradespeople to gain practical skills.

You will learn all aspects of bricklaying on-the-job and through formal training, with WHS adherence and a focus on building a long-term career in construction.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in learning the bricklaying trade.
• Hard-working, reliable and willing to learn.
• Construction White Card required or willingness to obtain one.
• Driver's licence and own transport preferred to access sites.

We are seeking bricklaying apprentices to fill our employer vacancies. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn the trade, enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

As a bricklaying apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople learning all aspects of bricklaying, while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities:

• Mix mortar and handle bricks and blocks
• Prepare materials, tools and work areas
• Learn brick and block laying
• Follow WHS procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised work site

What we're looking for:

• Genuine interest in learning the bricklaying trade
• Hard-working, reliable and willing to learn
• Construction Industry (White Card), or be willing to get one
• Driver's licence and own transport preferred -several of our Peninsula employers need apprentices who can get themselves to site
