Job summary

ABBTF in Wollongong region seeks bricklaying apprentices to fill employer vacancies and start immediately in Wollongong and surrounding areas. You will learn bricklaying on the job and through a registered training organisation, with hands-on experience alongside experienced tradespeople.

Ideal candidates have a genuine interest in learning the bricklaying trade, are hard-working and reliable, and hold a White Card or are willing to obtain one. A driver's licence and transport are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix mortar and handle bricks and blocks.

We are seeking bricklaying apprentices to fill our employer vacancies. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn the trade, enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

As a bricklaying apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople learning all aspects of bricklaying, while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities:

• Mix mortar and handle bricks and blocks
• Prepare materials, tools and work areas
• Learn brick and block laying
• Follow WHS procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised work site.

What we're looking for:
