The Brickmen in Sydney, NSW is seeking a dedicated Bricklayer for a full-time, permanent role in Riverwood. You will construct brick, block and stonework in line with architectural plans and ensure accurate finishes and safety compliance.

You should hold at least Certificate III in Bricklaying or have 3 years of relevant experience. Salary ranges from AU$75,000 to AU$85,000 per year plus superannuation, with opportunities based on experience.

Our team is made up of highly skilled masons who are passionate about delivering superior results. We are currently seeking a Bricklayer to Join the Team! The Bricklayer is responsible for constructing high-quality brick, block and stonework in accordance with architectural plans and specifications, while ensuring accurate finishes, structural integrity and compliance with site safety requirements.

This is a full-time ongoing position working 38 hours per week in Riverwood, NSW. Main tasks

• Planning, measuring, and laying bricks, blocks, and stonework accurately according to architectural plans and specifications.
• Achieving high-quality finishes with consistent joints, mortar, and alignment.
• Installing and aligning door/window frames, lintels, flashings, and other structural components.
• Maintaining site safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and equipment.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Minimum of Certificate III in Bricklaying plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience in the last 5 years.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong bricklaying, blocklaying and stonework skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Skilled in measuring, setting out, cutting and laying materials accurately.
• Knowledge of mortar preparation, jointing and finishing techniques.
• Ability to achieve accurate levels, alignment and high-quality finishes.
• Competence in using bricklaying tools, equipment and machinery safely.
• Good understanding of construction and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction team.

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
