Brickworks Limited is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Rochedale brick manufacturing site. You will lead and develop a shift team, drive production targets, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics and support functions to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient brick production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership to coach, motivate and develop employees.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to analyse production data and drive improvement.
• Strong communication for shift briefings, handovers and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a shift team of up to 12, ensuring clear expectations and visible leadership on the floor.
• Plan and coordinate shift activities, labour, start-ups, shutdowns and handovers to meet the schedule.
• Monitor production performance, quality, waste and downtime; respond to variances and take action.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, SOPs, quality systems and environmental controls.
• Identify hazards, conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and report incidents promptly.
• Coordinate breakdown response and planned maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with quality, logistics and other stakeholders to resolve constraints.
• Manage attendance, leave, training, performance and conduct per company processes.
• Maintain accurate shift records and required reporting on production, quality and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing issues and implementing sustainable actions.
