Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated advisor to provide advice, information and support to patients engaging with the screening centre. You will ensure timely access to colonoscopy or other diagnostics and coordinate follow-up within primary, secondary and tertiary care pathways.

You will establish links with local colorectal cancer MDTs to ensure that patients needing further intervention are transferred promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate with patients and carers.
• Experience with complex screening pathways is preferred.
• Ability to document patient data accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Populate and maintain the BCSP local database.
• Perform comprehensive assessment of patient needs and plan care.
• Collaborate with MDTs to ensure timely transfer and follow-up.
