Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
    • Input and process supplier invoices across multiple entities
    • Ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal controls
    • Set up and schedule payments in line with cash flow requirements
  • Journal Entries & General Ledger
    • Prepare and post accurate journal entries
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconciliations
    • Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Project Support
    • Assist with ad hoc financial projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and integration of new entities
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on financial matters
  • Cross-Entity Coordination
    • Work across multiple business units, including charitable foundations and investment entities
    • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • Completion of VCE or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced skills preferred)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
