Job summary

National Workforce in Australia is seeking a Book Merchandiser to service multiple retail stores across an allocated territory. This hands‑on, physically active role involves locating, unpacking, replenishing and merchandising book stock onto the shop floor.

Working independently across different store locations, you will ensure stock is presented neatly per merchandising standards. You will be responsible for attending stores on a scheduled cycle, lifting cartons up to 16 kg, and following

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver’s license.
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel between stores within the allocated territory.
• Physical ability to lift up to 16 kg and perform manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Attend allocated retail stores according to a scheduled call cycle.
• Locate stock on docks, reserves, cages and shelving areas.
• Unpack cartons and prepare stock for the shop floor.
• Move and replenish stock from reserve areas onto shelves.
• Merchandise books into correct categories and follow planograms.
• Keep shelves neat, fronted and presented to a high standard.
• Liaise with store staff regarding stock movement and scanning.
• Report stock issues and store feedback.
