Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers to join long-term civil projects on FIFO locations across South Australia. You will perform fabrication and welding duties from drawings, with 12-hour days, meals, accommodation and flights provided.

A retention bonus up to $3000 is offered, with career progression and a strong safety culture. Pre-employment checks apply, including National Police Clearance and drug/alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker with welding experience across fabrication and maintenance.
• Experience reading drawings and performing welding from diagrams.
• Health and safety-conscious with valid construction white card and high-risk work awareness.

Responsibilities

• General fabrication and welding duties across heavy earth moving equipment, conveyors, crushers, chutes, buckets and screens.
• Work from detailed drawings and maintenance plans; ensure quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with a team to complete long-term civil construction projects on FIFO sites.

Exact Contracting is seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers to join long-term civil construction projects across FIFO South Australian locations.

Do you have experience working on our plant?

This position is responsible for general fabrication and welding duties across our heavy earth moving and crushing and screeningplant, performing duties such as thermal lancing, working from drawings, planned and preventative maintenance, and other maintenance duties as required.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant and nationally recognised Trade Qualifications (essential);


• Experience in STICK, MIG, TIG, and OXY welding, OXY cutting, plasma cutting and pipe shaping;


• History completingstructural steel replacement, repairs to conveyors, crushers, chutes, buckets, truck bodies and screens;


• Ability to understand and work from detailed drawings;


• Current unrestricted driver’s licence, construction white card and working at heights (essential);


• Proven commitment to health and safety;


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team; and


• Personal drive and results orientated.
