About Us

Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

The Role

We are currently seeking qualified Boilermakers to join the Engineering and Construction team, working on the manufacture and installation of structural steel at our construction site. The role is a permanent full-time position. We can provide accommodation near site.

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• Completed their qualification and be competent in all aspects of their trade.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Structural Steel Fabrication.
• Ability to interpret detail shop drawings and specifications.
• Support and supervise apprentices to ensure appropriate training is received.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished work.
• Maintain Crossmuller QA/QC procedures and standards.
• Experience working in a busy hands-on environment.
• Enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task.
• Great communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, tools and equipment.

Preferred (but not essential)

• Basic dogging or rigging certification
• Current forklift licence
• Hold EWP and Working at Heights certification
• Experience operating overhead cranes

This is a full-time permanent position within our Structural Steel and Engineering team. To be successful in this role you must be motivated and be willing to put in the effort required to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
