Thornton Engineering in Geelong seeks a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join our workshop team. You will interpret drawings, select materials and plan the sequence of operations to fabricate parts to our quality standards.
You will operate measuring equipment and fabrication tools to produce parts, maintaining quality throughout the process. Join a family-owned company established in 1975 delivering steel products for major projects across Australia.
In this role, you will be reporting to the workshop supervisor and responsible for interpreting workshop drawings to determine the required material, production method and sequence of operations needed to produce fabricated parts within our quality requirements. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools required to produce the fabricated parts.

If you are a trade qualified Boilermaker with proven experience in a workshop environment, we are looking for someone like you to join our team. As part of our team of skilled boilermakers and welders, you'll be working in our workshops located in Northern Geelong., * Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Boilermaker (or equivalent)
