Job summary

ConsMin is recruiting experienced HME Boilermakers for the Woodie Mine site, operating on a 14:14 FIFO roster ex Perth. You will perform repairs and maintenance on a CAT/Komatsu/Hitachi fleet, with emphasis on bucket repairs, tray work and wear packages, while upholding strict safety standards.

The role requires trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication, mine site experience, a current MR licence, NPC (within 6 months), and ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication.
• Extensive mine site experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment.
• Current MR truck licence.
• National Police Clearance (NPC) not older than 6 months.
• Pre-employment medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing repairs and maintenance of mining fleet (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi).
• Perform bucket repairs, wear packages and general fabrication.
• Maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping in workshop and mine areas.
• Work both independently and as part of Mobile Maintenance team.

ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Job Description

ConsMin are currently recruiting experienced HME Boilermakers for our Woodie Mine site. These roles operate on a 14:14 (14 days: 14 Nights) FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required:

• Ongoing repairs and maintenance of company mining fleet which consists of CAT and Komatsu equipment i.e., CAT 6020B Excavators, PC1250 Excavator, Cat 988K and 992K Loaders, Cat 16M Graders, Cat D10T & 854K Dozers, Cat 777F/G Dump Trucks & 777F Water Carts
• Work predominantly bucket repairs/rebuilds, tray work, wear packages and general fabrication.
• Ensure following safe working practises and good housekeeping in workshop and around the mine.
• Perform all work activities with the highest regards to industry safety standards
• Ability to work independently as well as part of the Mobile Maintenance team.

Requirements to be successful in this role are:

• Trade Qualified in Engineering Fabrication.
• Extensive mine site experience with product knowledge on Hitachi, CAT & Komatsu equipment.
• Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
• CurrentMR truck licence.
• National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
• Be able to complete a Pre-employment medical.

Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
